For our breast lift patients, they've typically had several children. The breast tissue has atrophied and reduced in size, the skin is a little bit floppy and loose, and the nipples often point downwards. Part of a breast lift procedure is to reduce that extra skin to restore the roundness and fullness of their breasts, and to lift the nipples back to the center of the breasts, with a minimum of scarring, to regain that confidence and that youthful figure that they so appreciate. The surgery takes typically between two and half and three and a half hours, is done on an outpatient basis, and patients return to work between two and three weeks after the surgery.
