Are you worried about scars after a breast lift? Dr. Kishinevsky has extensive training in a vertical short scar breast lift technique which minimizes scarring and recovery time. The vertical short scar technique leaves only one scar, whereas other breast lift techniques leave multiple large scars.

Breast Lift Recovery
Following a breast lift, most women are able to return to desk work within one to two weeks, and can usually resume exercise after about a month. Here is what to expect during your breast lift recovery:
Bruising, Swelling, and Discomfort
Bruising may last as long as a month after your breast lift, and the majority of swelling subsides within three to four weeks. Discomfort can be controlled with over-the-counter pain meds. Dr. Kishinevsky will advise that you relax and avoid serious physical exertion until she determines that you are ready. This does not mean your doctor will recommend you stay on the couch all day. A key action you can take to promote blood circulation and prevent blood clots is walking every day.
Follow-up Visits
It is important to maintain a regular schedule of follow-up visits at our Norwalk office so Dr. Kishinevsky can monitor your recovery. Of course, if you have any questions or concerns you want answered outside of an appointment, feel free to reach out.
Breast Lift vs. Other Breast Procedures
Breast lifts restore perkiness, give sagging breasts renewed firmness, and provide your bust line with a rejuvenated profile.
However, it is important to note that a breast lift will not increase your breast size the way breast augmentation can, or provide the relief you could expect from breast reduction if your breasts are overly large.
